Rebuilt engines are an alternative to remanufactured engines. We always recommend buying a remanufactured engine if it is in the budget, but if you are looking for a more affordable option that still is backed by a warranty, rebuilt engines are the way to go. When a rebuilt engine is received, the unit needs to be inspected to make sure it is rebuildable. We would never rebuild an engine if it does not meet specific tolerances. All parts that are not functioning are replaced with new parts. All other parts that are within the tolerance are reused in the engine. All rebuilt engines are tested before shipping it to your shop or residence to make sure they will operate as you expect them to.
